Counting Particles

I recently got my thyroid removed and a radiotherapy afterwards. A department of nuclear medicine in a hospital is quite peculiar place to be, with pills served in heavy lead containers, rooms doors that weigh a ton and are made of lead, and a lot of dos and donts you normally never hear of. Well, you have a lot of time there – so I thought of making a Geiger counter myself.

It should be a flexible thing with replacable sensors, a digital display and SCPI connectivity. After some tries, it worked fine, see here:
